Language, Culture, Action!: Culture-based Education Unit

In this webinar, participants will engage with a Culturally-Based Education (CBE) Drama Unit. Used properly, drama can be an effective way to engage students in learning about culture and learning culturally. Like the other webinars in this series, PBL (Project-Based Learning) is the instructional method that drives the drama unit, and participants will walk through an exemplary PBL model. The goal of the unit is to help students learn how to use their bodies as a figure of speech, how to communicate emotion through their voices, and how to convey the history of their community, all while utilizing Native language and culture.
